Arts for All

A Word of Welcome

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Phoenix Arts.

The arts have never been more important. It's a tough world where family and community struggle to thrive at times. The arts are a way of connecting, creating and finding a voice. Even better, the arts are FUN!

Sadly, the arts are being squeezed out of mainstream education. And that's where we come in. As a place that's safe, happy, creative and accessible, we offer opportunities to perform no matter what your background. We are inclusive and diverse and we want to share the making of great memories.

With all of the exciting plans we're preparing, the opportunities opening up and the suggestions we've had, I can't wait to see what Phoenix Arts will create in coming months.

In the meantime, thanks for your interest. See you soon!

GET TO KNOW OUR PERFORMING ARTS GROUP IN MILTON KEYNES

Phoenix Arts is a CIC, which means we exist to make a positive difference to our partner areas and beyond.

  • We aim to:

  • · Serve our community and the wider Milton Keynes area with arts opportunities

  • · To offer experiences—trips, visiting workshop leaders, local performances, participation in events ... all low cost or NO cost. Certainly free for those living/working in Woughton Community Council estates: Beanhill, Bleak Hall (non residential), Coffee Hall, Eaglestone, Leadenhall, Netherfield, Peartree Bridge, Redmoor (non-residential), Tinkers Bridge

  • · Offer opportunities to use existing arts skills, learn new ones, be creative, find a voice, work as a team, build confidence, challenge yourself in a safe place, explore and express, laugh and make friends, escape for a while, and make something to be proud of

  • · To be inclusive and welcome a beautiful diversity of members

  • · To adapt and grow by reflecting and listening
