Our Charities

As a group of people who genuinely care about the world we live in, and the people around us, Phoenix Arts supports a local and an international charity. We try to raise money or raise awareness of the charity's work once a term. However, we will not use such work or 'court' a multitude of charities to get publicity for our own work. We will not charge a charity any costs for our time or expenses whatsoever - especially when we receive sponsorship - as we feel that this is morally corrupt. Nor will we take photographs of the cheques we hand over and use them on social media. Fundraising will be done quietly and with dignity.

Harry's Rainbow

Harry's Rainbow is our local charity. It is run by long-time friends and colleagues Odette and Lee Mould who set up Harry's Rainbow when they suddenly and tragically lost little Harry in 2009. To help support other bereaved children and families at a time when help is most needed, Harry's Rainbow is a hard-working and invaluable group and we are privileged to help in any way possible.

Kampala Children's Centre

Our international charity, KCC brings health and happiness to children enduring the very worst circumstances life can present. Over the course of the terms, we hope to strengthen links with KCC and get to know some of the people who live there.
